Generally speaking the coach will collect you from a location near to your university campus; larger trips may have London and Dover collection/drop-off. The coach journey itself will vary depending on your location in the UK, however as a general rule it will take around 24hrs or so. The coaches will take the ferry from Dover to Calais which will last approximately 1.5 hours and then will continue into resort making a couple more refreshments breaks for you to stretch your legs.
As you come into resort, your coach will stop at a supermarket before making the ascent up to your accommodation, providing you with another opportunity to grab those necessities for the week ahead at a lower cost than on the mountain. This supermarket trip will depend on timing however, as the main priority is to get you to resort in a good time; it may be closed by the time you approach resort.
