Important Wasteland Travel Covid Guidance

As I’m sure you will be aware, France has recently updated its policy on travel to everyone from the UK. From Saturday 18th December the new restrictions mean that currently “UK travellers cannot enter France for ‘non-essential’ reasons”. As everyone is aware, and especially most recently, we have seen entry rules and requirements change within days for many European destinations. With this very much at the forefront of our thinking, we cannot rule out the possibility that there may again be a change in policy, leading to another easing of the rules by France, which would then enable UK passengers to visit more easily again. We are all desperate to keep the prospects of travel and holidaying alive so we do not want to act too prematurely. As such, we will be liaising with all suppliers, group organisers and stakeholders on a weekly basis, to assess our ability to run our trips, and we will communicate this accordingly. We will be making the decision to cancel trips only when we are forced to and as late as possible in order to maximize everyone’s chances of travelling. Keep thinking positively! So, we continue to plan on the basis that trips will still be happening, but we will update everyone regularly through this page and liaise directly with organisers.
